Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts for 30 days.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, this does not include the delivery box, it is very important that you take appropriate steps so that the item is returned safely, we can not refund a broken or damaged order.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer, we may not be able to send you a refund or exchange if we do not receive the product.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Items with obvious signs of use, which may impact the sale of the product.
- CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this, and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {info@modernnails.se}, and we will handle the situation with care.
For whatever reason, a credit charge may take up to 30 days, if the situation is out of our control or in any extraordinary situation we may choose to deliver the charge through another channel if this prerequisite is fulfilled. These situations are surely those set forth by our ”force majeure clause”.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded. No gods that are perishable shall be refunded.
Three years right of complaint
The Consumer Protection Act grants you three years of warranty. This means that you have the right to complain about any defects you discover in the product during the first three years after the purchase.
It is important to make your complaint within two months from the moment you discovered the defect. If you wait longer, you might lose your right to demand anything from the company. You should address your complaint to the company, and we will help you the best we can.
You Have the Right to Cancel Orders
You always have the right to cancel an order before it is delivered to you. The company will not demand that you complete the purchase. However, the company may demand compensation if they incurred costs related to the order, for instance, if the product was custom-made for you and cannot be resold.
If you choose to cancel the order, kindly do it before we begin the delivery, as this will avoid additional costs’ for the environment and any confusion within the shipping company.
Replace & Exchange
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, email us at {info@modernnails.se} and send your item to: {Västra Storgatan 1, Jönköping}.
Refund & Return
To return your product, you should mail your product to: {Västra Storgatan 1, Jönköping}.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We the receiver can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Other Clauses
Force Majeure
In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorist activities, government restrictions, labour strikes, or any other events constituting force majeure, we shall not be held liable for any delays, non-performance, or failure to fulfil our obligations. During such circumstances, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate our services without incurring any liability to you. We will make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact of force majeure events on our services and shall inform you promptly of any such occurrences.”
Amendments
We may update or modify these terms and conditions at any time, and any changes will be effective upon posting the revised version on our website. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for any updates. Continued use of our products or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
However, we shall notify you our costumer if any of these clauses greatly derails the original contract you agreed to, but this will not be applicable if any clause is inappropriately taken advantage of either by the company or the costumer, or because of a recent law change or legal decision that may constitute an immediate change to the policy.
User Conduct
When using our website, products, or services, you agree not to engage in any unlawful, abusive, harmful, or inappropriate behaviour in relation to the appropriate use of our products or in any situation where your act may impact our reputation. You shall neither submit any defamatory, offensive, nor infringing content that damages our brand, honour, or peace.
Violation of these conduct rules may result in the termination of your access to our offerings and potential legal action like ”Breach of contact”, where you or the company shall be held liable for any wrongdoing. Monetary compensation shall be the standard that we the Obligors agree to adhere too.
Termination
You or our company may terminate the agreement at any time, with or without cause. In case of termination, you agree to cease all use of our products and services, and we reserve the right to discontinue providing our offerings to you.
